New gear technology!  Dual gear change kit gives the best of two worlds. The 486:1 ratio is for extra heavy-duty machining and accuracy, while the 90:1 ratio is for medium duty rotation and indexing 5.4 times faster, up to 15 rpm.

This gear kit fits our rotary tables that are designed for 486:1 gearbox. Includes MRT6-86-80, MRT8-86-80, MRT10-86-118, MRT12-86-118, MRT16-86-156, MRT20-86-156, and MRT24-86-156, and same size HV rotary tables. It does not fit any other gear ratio rotary tables.

Only Excitron offers a dual gear ratio rotary table, now you do not need to buy two different rotary tables--saves you money.

Pictures show final assembly for the 486:1 ratio and the 90:1 ratio. This option does not include the stepper motor/controller and worm gear stem. This option only includes the extra steel plates and hardware so you can have both gear ratios on our heavy-duty rotary tables. You should order this option at the same time you order your rotary table, although you can order later without any down-side.

With this kit, it only takes 5 minutes to change over from 486:1 ratio to 90:1 ratio and vice-versa.
